We chose this hotel for the location in the centre of town and because it had parking which we could book. You could walk easily to anywhere in the city centre. After reading the comments about the underground car park we decided not to use it as our car is longer than the average car and there is an over ground car park just around the corner from the hotel which was a bonus. Parking was about 20 Euros for 24 hours. The breakfast was good and the room was clean. We had a triple room as it was all that we could book, so this meant it might have been larger than other rooms (the extra bed was a sofa bed). We liked the fact you could help yourself to tea, coffee and milk to make a drink in your room. This feels like a standard 3 star hotel and was a good price for the location in the city centre.

I think the staff who work at the front desk just might be the nicest people I've ever come across in any hotel. On arrival, we had a roof bag on our car which left us too high for the underground parking- the man very kindly offered to hold it in a spare meeting room. On check out, another man leapt over when he saw me struggling to carry the end of it with my husband and helped us put it back on the car. So kind, without even being asked. Rooms were lovely - simple and comfy with air con that was a relief after a week camping. Metz was beautiful, I wish we could have stayed longer, but huge thanks to the wonderful staff, you are awesome.

Location, location, location... the hotel is nearby the city centre and even so a quiet area. We were afraid that being so close to the centre, it will be noisy, but we were pleasantly surprised it was not the case. All touristic attraction are closed by. We did not have breakfast, but when leaving in the morning we were able to see what was served, and the food looked amazing. They also had soy milk based drinks and gluten free bread upon request. Close by the lift there is a water fountain which you can use to refill your bottle free of charge. There is a parking space available upon request. It is perfect for both long and short stays.

We had 2 double rooms which were clean and functional. The buffet style breakfast had a reasonable choice of croissants, fruit, bread, cheese, meat etc. and was regularly replenished. It was busy and finding a table a bit tricky. On the whole the staff were friendly. We prebooked the hotel car park which is well located and secure under the hotel.

The location was good for us as we like to walk so being at one end of the city and walking through was good for us. Overall metz surprised us, we didn't think it would have much to offer other than being a city usually is. Lots to do by the river and down by the park and lake area. As well as the city it self with lots of restaurants, bars etc, and historical architecture.
